How to post to a blog using Google's Writely.
First, open up Writely welcome. (click this to get to Writely's home page)
Then prepare the post. For example, insert a picture (below):
Add web cams to Google Home Page
Added stuff
To insert a table, select the Insert tab, choose Table. We chose 2x2, size to content, brown border, light yellow background.| The cells in the table adjust to fit what we type in. A spelling mistake has been corrected with spell check. | Content can be formatted within a cell |
| The cell should stretch vertically if you enter new paragraphs. This also is done easily. | Bulleted lists are easy to do:

A line was inserted below here using Insert -> Horizontal line
Special characters, using Insert-> Special Characters... § this, ± plus/minus

Post number 4 - Editgrid a web based spreadsheet editor
Another web-based software to edit spreasheets online, but this one is pretty cool and has a lot of features.
Editgrid allows you to access spreadsheets across computers, workspaces anytime from anywhere.
With editgrid you can see changes in real time when someone modifies a spreadsheet, they call it RTU (real time update). You have full keyboard navigation in the spreadsheet, 135 functions like SUM(), COUNTIF() etc.

Post number 3
Got my Google Spreadsheet beta account. Google has continued to create simple looking yet snappy applications. I'm yet to find a use for the online spreadsheet though ;).
EditGrid seems to be giving a run for Google spreadsheet's money. Edit grid has gone a step ahead to create some standard templates like todo lists, cashflow analysis etc. I think the utitlity of google spreadsheet will be greatly enhanced if it has some standard templates like these . Most of these templates seem to be prepared with US markets in mind. Both have umpteen functions(math, fin, statistical).
